An interactive one-day workshop.

About the Event

This FREE interactive one-day filmmaking workshop will introduce you to different aspects of producing a short fictional film. You will work with director, cinematographer, assistant director, sound technician, makeup, and various actors.

Learn about:

  • different roles of the crew
  • storytelling
  • pre-production
  • production - film a scene from a movie with makeup artist, lighting, sound, cinematographer, director
  • post-production – principles of editing, marketing (film festivals, social media and promotion).

The workshop will be facilitated by Mark Regan. Mark has been involved in numerous local narrative film and documentary productions as a director, producer, and cinematographer. He has been teaching film and digital media at Murdoch Institute of Technology and is currently working as a content creator.
